Southeast Campus Advising

October is Advising Month on the Southeast Campus.

  • When was the last time you met with your advisor?
  • Have you made an appointment with your advisor?
  • Are you unsure about your major and need to speak with someone?
  • Did you know that students who meet with their advisor once a semester have the greatest success?

Now that we are settled into the Fall semester we encourage students to set up a time to speak with their advisor. This is a great way to prepare for the Spring semester and know which classes you will want to register for in November.

Have you met with your advisior?
~ Look into majors

  • Your advisor will help you set realistic educational goals.
  • Your advisor will make sure you are in the major that best fits your career goals.
  • Your advisor will assist you in selecting the correct courses for your major.

(in rooms 1320 and 1321)
We have added ESL tutoring hours to the Southeast campus schedule on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8am to 9:30am. For those students who are taking anatomy and biology we also want to point out that Shanna Hanes is available to help you out on Mondays and Wednesdays from noon to 2pm. There has been confusion about the subjects that Ms. Hanes covers but she is proficient in biology, microbiology and A&P. Please pick up a tutoring flyer in the library for the most current schedule.
